What do you mean by ioinic mobility?

When an electric field is applied to ions in a medium, ions start to move in
the opposite direction of the electric field, it is simply known as ionic mobility
and in more sophisticated words electrophoresis. The motion of the ion itself
can be characterized by-

  1. Charge on ion
  2. Size of ion
  3. Shape of ion
  4. Viscosity of solvent
  5. Degree of solvation
  6. Temperature
  7. The dielectric constant of the solvent
